Fanless Noiseless computer #1
That is the way the idea of the fanless computer with the heat pipes and the absolutely (100%!!!) passive cooling appeared. I started my work with the help of the group of enthusiasts and in spite of all the difficulties we could mod it and make it real!!! The computers equipped with this system used to work for more than half-year without any troubles and successfully stayed though the all hot summer days.

Nice work! An inspiration for my fanless htpc project. I have a lot less heat to remove than you though... An undervolted athlon xp is all I need to cool with the heatpipes... Managed to get 18 heatpipes for £25 GBP! Ebay is your friend! |

| Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
