Modding
How to cut text on a front cover of a PC?
• R1 resistor sets a limit for condenser charge current, without it, while connecting condenser there is a voltage step (it starts charging) and it would be understood as a short circuit with a spark.

• R2 resistor sets a limit for diodes current; • C condenser makes diodes light 10 seconds after switching off. Condensers are electrical, they are designed for 10V (not for 12V) and this is rather risky. ( but I don’t have suitable ones).

• diodes for 12V have the equal useful current and they don’t limit each other. If you install diodes sequentially, their brightness with be lower. But when computer is switched off they’ll be working for 30-40 seconds

• you'd better solder all scheme to a Molex, and solder diodes to longer wires. You can use 3.3V diodes, but this burn off in three days even with normal voltage and even with a resistor in a circuit. But they are much brighter, brighter then 12V ones (that I used in my scheme). This device is very small and I could make it more accurate, but I also soldered a condenser.

I wish everyone good modding, SilentMods.com

| Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
