Modding
Modding RGB cooler
We must make a small redesign of disk drive faceplate before installation of the finished board into the case. We’ll fasten the board to the faceplate and in such way place the controller command buttons and indicating light diodes. Well, let’s start… 1. Mark and drill holes for the buttons and indicating light diodes. The buttons construction and design, as well as the colour of diodes lighting, don’t have any importance; you may choose them to your taste.

Glue the faceplate to textolite by means of hot air gun. This means is not very refined but fast. I advise people who like practicality make provision for other fittings.

Fasten the buttons and light diodes in the holes:

Solder the wirings to the buttons and light diodes. Put pieces of isolating tube on the diodes and buttons legs. The device is soldered and ready for operation, but…
