How to make a printed circuit board.
The process... Suppose you know all the peculiarities of the system and you are ready to make a board. You’d better draw a pattern. Firstly you'll need to draw board markings – details position and lanes to them – it’s not easy, because lanes shouldn’t intersect. Of course you should mark lanes and details on a copper side. It’s very important to choose the side for details appropriately. If you place them at the same side as the lanes you need to draw the position of details and lanes. What position you should choose? Before drawing lanes you should cut a piece of fabric-based laminate that you need for board; I recommend you to think about the fastening method beforehand. If the details would be on the opposite side of a board it would be difficult to ring out the board if there will be some difficulties, if you have chip with plenty of legs you should correctly position lanes to a chip – on the copper side chip contacts are positioned in reverse order. For drawing printed circuit board lanes you can make a drawing pen from an empty ball pen refill. Heat a refill on a soldering iron and stretch it a little bit.

After cooling down of plastic, cut it with a sharp blade at a right angle. Do it with one cut to make the edge sharp. You won’t succeed from the first time so take some empty ball – pens.

For drawing lanes you’ll need any nitrocellulose enamel, for example, cellulose nitrate varnish or even nail polish. Mark the lanes and places for fastening the details with paint, don't make brake outs in the lanes. I drew my board with blue metallic. Before drawing wipe the board with acetone.

On the other side I made lanes of somewhat electronic device.

Put the board in ferrichloride tincture. To make both its sides etch and not to make one side lie on the bottom put something under the board.

| Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
