Experiments with Peltier modules

Peltier elements (thermoelectric modules) are widely used in cooling systems. But not many people know about their another characteristics, to generate energy. This laboratory work is devoted to the study of these features.
50*50 element is placed between two aluminium ingots. The ingots surfaces have been grinded in and greased with thermal paste beforehand. Through-holes were drilled in one of the ingots through which a copper tube was passed for water cooling. The result is in the picture.

Experiments with Peltier modules

Join water up the cooler and supply to Peltier modul, check work of the element. In ten minutes the ingot will be cooled to -10 degrees and in 30 minutes even more. The room temperature is 22 degrees.

Everything works well; I didn’t have any doubts in this. Now switch off power box and solder a 6 volt bulb instead of it; then put the modded device on burner.

Hi guys, I collected it himself and moding done!
Non-constructive thoughts about modding...

All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
