Modding technology
Working with a grinder.
Important safety measures. - The workable detail should be safely fastened. - Hold the grinder tight, try to think in what way it could break. I’ll explain. When the disk is jammed or broken the grinder tries to jump out of your hands or throw off the workable detail. It’s very unexpectedly and fast process…Be ready. I repeat one more time, hold it tight. I don’t recommend student under 70 kg to work with a grinder. - Use protective glasses even when you change disks (you can forget about it then). - Watch where sparks go not to make a fire. The sparks can go out up to 5-6 meters, be sure that they don’t fall on something flammable like wood, rags or paper. - It’s categorically NOT recommended to use millers and saws instead of disks. Instead you probably loose your hand or leg. - You should correctly regulate cover that close down the disk (you can turn it), it's restricted to work without it.

Here’s on a picture is a cutting device that you can make for one evening. It’s some kind of a swing saw, plumbers use it, but it’s smaller. You can have very smooth and beautiful cut.

Look in the picture. I easily cut 20*50mm steel sheet. Look where sparks go out and in what direction the disk is rotating. If you want to repeat this construction, make the same. If you install the grinder in direct reflection it would cut into metal, and as a result broken disks and reducing gear. This construction is very safe, even if the disk will brake, the grinder will stay in its place.

| Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
