Casemods
Modding "MegaBox"
I assembled the case on the table, pasted with transparent glue “Moment”. The construction is reinforced additionally with the screws 3x20 mm. At the same time there was made the engraving on two front panels.

Actually all fastenings of devices were developed “hurriedly” of remains of the panels (luckily they were made for the case of twice greater dimension). Motherboard is fixed on brass columns, which are twisted in glued acryl disks. I.e. at first fixture was assembled, screwed on the board and only after that on “super glue” installed in the place. Expansion boards lost its standard fastening (steel angular brackets) so it was necessary to design the plate for their pressing to the back wall. Apertures for sockets were cut manually along with apertures for power socket and output of the fan power unit. Test leads for +5 and +12V power were installed in the same place.

| Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
